I am using version4.0. I had 35 items in my startup manager and I clicked several "off". When I clicked accept a waiting icon appeared and said "collecting community stats......." I waited 15 minutes and the waiting icon was still there. I tried to press the close button, but no effect. I tried to close the window the "X" in the upper corner no effect. I opened task manager and toldl it to terminate the program. It shut down the whole norton program. Then I did not have the program in my start bar. I shut dow the computer "restart". the norton icon came back up in the start bar icons and when I open startup manager it says it is still collecting community stat and won't let me close the window. Is this collecting community stats something that takes a long tim? Like hours?
