The information in Startup Manager does not explain what a particular startup program is supposed to accomplish, or why it was even added to the startup manual, or whether or not it's really needed as a startup. There is thus no common-sense way to decide whether or not to switch the program to manual.
Hi DBAllen,
I would also add that if look at the path and filename of the startup item, you should be able to link it to a particular program. From there you should be able to find out pretty easily why it is there.
