I tried to reproduce the behavior you are describing but I was unable to. Could you please clarify a bit more? For me, I opened up N360, selected "Manage Backup," then "Add a folder." The size of my backup was updated to reflect the 3 new files within this folder. Then I close the backup manager window, open Windows Explorer, right click on the folder, and select Norton 360->Exclude from Backup. When I once again clicked "Manage Backup" inside N360, my file count was back to where it was before.
Am I doing this the same way you are?
