I decided to cancel auto renewal subscription on 26/07/2017 as I felt it was expensive compared to some competitors.
I was offered a Amazon gift card as a incentive to renew, which I accepted the renewal went through on 15.08.2017. I received email stating I would be notified with 60 days regarding the gift card, still not heard a thing, contacted support last night and was told to email <removed> and was told to wait 24hrs. Still heard nothing.
I am in the same situation. l contacted Norton and they said it would get escalated and l would get a call back within 24 to 48 hours. l did not get a call back and l called again and was told l would have to wait 60 days. l saw in the other forums that people waited 60 days and nothing happened so l wouldn't get my hopes up. l can't believe Norton would use business tactics like this on loyal customers.
Thank you for responding; not having much luck with Norton's support team other being told to wait 60 days after renewal and then being escalated with no replies back when pointing out the offer's terms mentions nothing of that and it stating "You will receive upon renewal".
Thanks for reporting in Norton Community Forums. I have sent you a private message requesting details to follow up with our team. Please check it when you get a chance.
I would also like some help with my anniversary gift for renewing my subscription. I have gone through all the necessary steps required to claim my gift. I have received the email saying i will be sent the gift upon renewal, but i am still waiting for my gift one week after renewing.
I'm also going through a similar situation. On November 2nd, 2017 I received a $25 amazon gift card offer which I registered for that it states would be "received upon renewal" as the e-mail states. My subscription had renewed this Monday past and I've received nothing. I contacted Norton through live chat and instantly got the answer of "you must wait 60 days from renewal to receive it". I pointed out the fact that the e-mail stated "received upon renewal" and mentions nothing of waiting 60 days. Not even in the fine print or the Offers terms. At which point I got the cut and paste "We will escalate this" and have heard nothing. Taking to the forums to see if others had the same issue, I had seen it's exactly the same. Told 60 days, otherwise told it was escalated and never heard back in either case. It's pretty bad customer service to do this because it almost seems like they're trying to make you wait and forget about it rather then keeping to their word.
Since you received your renewal already, I would disable Automatic Renewal now and remove credit Card details as well. Then next year you can shop around and get the best reliable price.. You can send a PM to whomever sent you the PM asking for your details. That person should be able to answer those questions for you.
I just had my subscription renewed and thought it was VERY Expensive but the $25 amazon gift card helps to bring that price down. now I am worried that this will be difficult to get. I assumed it would just automatically be emailed to me once I renewed. What do I need to do to get the gift card and will it be mailed to me or is it an E-gift card?
