I know this is really late but my laptop was stolen over Thanksgiving break and my anti theft was not signed in is there anyway to still get some kind of trail or anything or am I out of luck?
I had it registered its just usually if my pc turned off you would have to sign in and me being the lazy guy I am I didnt So now when I go on that site the latest report it has is from october and my laptop was stolen some time during thanksgiving break.
Hi xltbx.
Why do you not now log on to the Anti-Theft website now and try to locate the device? You could also try taking a picture and locking the device... Have you tried any of this?
The longer you leave it the less chance you have of getting any result. Why did you not try as soon as you lost the device?
Sorry if I have misunderstood but I am most puzzled as you appear to have had Anti-Theft loaded and active but you have not attempted to use it....
Thats not it at all I used it the day I found out it was missing but since it wasnt signed in it was shown as missing and offline.
Thats pretty much it I have the product I activated it i have signed in before but when it was stolen it wasnt signed in I kinow how to use it is there anyway to track it if the program is still on the pc?

Hi xltbx.
Sorry I misunderstood. :-(
If you told Anti-Theft that the device was missing when you lost it and it has still not turned up any trace then I think there is little chance that it is going to do so now. For it to find the device or do anything the device will have to be switched on and connected to the internet. However if the device is reformatted or otherwise cleared down before it is connected to the internet then there is nothing that Norton can do as far as I am aware.
I would continue to monitor the device just in case it has not been switched on yet for some reason but given the time this does seem unlikely.
Sorry about the misunderstanding and doubly sorry it appears that you have lost your device.
Better luck in the future.
