Stolen laptop

I have Norton Internet Security installed on my maximum of three computers.

One of the computers, a laptop, was recently stolen and I have since replaced it.

Now I want to cancel the protection on the stolen computer and install protection

on the replacement.  I have searched the support community, but have not found

any topic dealing with this.

How do I cancel protection on the stolen computer, so that I can install the protection

on my new computer.

On a different topic, is there anything Norton could do to help with the stolen computer.

I would like for them to send a lightening bolt across the internet, when my stolen laptop

contacts them for updates.  I am not so harsh as to want the person dead.  I would just

like the person's arms and legs burnt off, so he lives as a complete invalid in horrible pain for

the rest of his life.

gmsue,

Sorry to hear about the theft of your laptop.

If you have not it is often worth contacting the computer manufacturer and telling them it has been stolen -- some makers log this in their service files so if it comes in for servicing they know it is stolen and can take action .....

If you used your laptop for anything sensitive like your bank or credit card accounts you will want to change the login and passwords for those as well with the companies concerned.
