Hi. I had my notebook stolen on september 20th, and I´d like to know if you could send me - through my Norton Account or any other way - the recent IP adresses used to update the antivirus, in order to find the computer. What do I have to do to get these information? Thank you.

Welcome Daniel,

The information you are requesting may only be available through a court order. I hope that you have filed a police report and that the serial number is included. I would also hope that you have notified the manufacturer that the device has been stolen so that they can put a block on the serial number.

The FBI maintains a database of stolen articles which can be accessed by law enforcement agencies. Many departments also participate in programs which keep a list of articles which are taken to pawn shops. Therefore, your local police department will be your best source of assistance.

I previously have discussed the same scenario with a norton tech support, unfortunately they don't have the option to track down your notebook. the only thing that they can do is disable the product key, you don't have to pay a product that you are no longer using.

I can only recommend you to contact Customer Support. The easiest and fastest way is the free Online Chat: www.norton.com/chat I'm not sure if they can do this, but at least they can ban the usage of your product key.
