I've disabled the so-called automatic new version downloads (which is deceptive because it also includes automatic installation), but apparently the new version is already installed and simply awaiting a restart.
(1) Is it too late to undo this automatic version upgrade before restart? If it is not too late before restart, how do I stop this?
(2) Will System Restore revert back to the current version (NIS 21.7.0.11)? If not, how do I get NIS 21.7.0.11 back?
In the 15 years I've used NIS, sneaking in automatic version upgrades is one of the sleaziest things I've seen. This is my machine and I, not you, determine what buggy crap gets installed. I have no desire to upgrade to Windows 10, so why force this on me? /End Rant
