About 20 times a day, I get a “Threat secured” message from Norton saying that “We prevented your connection to loadway.best because it is a dangerous webpage.” How do I stop getting that message?
This question is not about whether it’s a false positive. I assume it’s a true positive. I simply don’t want to be told the same thing 20 times a day.
If the same website is being flagged, you may have picked up a PUP, Possibly Unwanted Program.
First you should run a full system scan with your Norton product. Then I suggest a second opinion scan with the free version of Malwarebytes that focuses on some things that Norton does not.
