Stopping Prominent software installation

Every time trying to install Boris FX (paid licensed program) Norton stopped the installation mid way Had to remove Norton and complete

the installation and re installed Norton. This been going on for the last four years. I did all recommended on line but the problem continues.

Is there any reason to reject Boris FX Sapphire plug in ?

Did you try temporarily disabling Norton Auto-Protect or Norton Smart Firewall or Norton Data Protector or  ... as test.
