I am facing very strange problems with NIS 2013 (20.2.1.22) installed on Windows 8 Pro (Action Center). Most of the time windows does not recognize NIS as Antivirus and it's Firewall. It does not active even after selecting NIS as trusted Antivirus and Firewall. I have to re-start windows many times to get the desired results.
Along above issue there is another issue with updates. It's NIS, Windows or any other application if there is any update waiting for install. System Hangs and I am unable to do anything till I re-start windows to apply all updates.
Removing NIS solves both above issues. But I am still using NIS due to security.
I have done fresh install of both and both products are fully updated including all required drivers.
System: ASUS M4A88T-M LE, AMD Phenom II Black Edition (X4 965), 4 GB Ram, 1TB x 2 Hdd
OS: Windows 8 Pro with Media Center 64 (6.2 Build 9200)
