Strange Results of Scan

Hello all.

After running my daily scan with NIS2009 (after updating) I did my usual second scan with malwarebytes.

Malwarebytes  registered one infection.

The funny thing is, the file in question wouldn't go into quarantine  or anywhere else, the only choice that I had was to remove it (delete it). It also wouldn't be ignored.

I ran the scan again in safe mode and again in normal mode with the same result.

I didn't know if this was a false positive or not, so the only thing I could do was exit the program  ( I created a log file of the scan)  since it wouldn't quarantine as normal and my only option was to delete it.

I don't know where I could have picked it up if it's the "real deal" since I didn't go to any new sites other than a couple of sites in google search that were listed as safe by Norton ( and no, I never click on the pop ups, etc.)  I don't think I got it off of the apple computer site or a site that I was reading up on about VPN either.

Anyway, perhaps quads or someone else that's up on current malware could read the log and advise.

Thanks in advance
