Earlier this week I installed Norton Internet Security 2010 and even during the install I started to notice problems with downloading. I found out right after streaming video doesn't seem to work anymore either, it hangs up randomly after it starts to stream and won't complete. Its basically the exact same issue as reported under this thread:
However none of the suggestions in that thread have fixed the problem. I tried turning all of the norton items off to see if that would work and it didn't. I tried uninstalling norton through control panel Add/Remove programs and that didn't work either, it still left the problem.
I'm currently running Windows XP and am up to date on patches (that'd put me under SP3 i think). Any recommendations? I'm using Firefox and it is up to date, along with the flash player.
I can try listing all of the services and applications that are running later once I'm back home.
