I have the classic symptoms of a viral or Trojan infection in my PC. I did a regular system scan w/ Norton and it said there were no threats found. I go to support and they tell me to use the Norton Power Eraser, I tried that and it did not scan. Followed the instructions w/ the MSCONFIG and still nothing. I was then directed to use the Norton Bootable Recovery Tool. I downloaded it and followed the instructions. Went to reboot my PC for it to run the scan, and the system rebooted into normal. Reconfigured the boot device setup to where the CD would be read. Restarted the computer, and all the screen said was "Boot from CD". That is all it said. There were no instructions and I still need to scan my system., Can someone please help me?
