Stupid ads and pop-ups

Has anyone figured out how to stop the never-ending ad annoyances from Norton? I am so sick of the ads to buy more crap that should be included with our subscription, the pop-ups nagging us to install all of the browser extensions (even after you've clicked "don't show this again", and when Norton hijacks your browser to push yet more products - it's annoying, SPAMMY, and in my opinion, malware.

Well, if you've tried below: then it may be time to follow The Old Professor [here]

Did you try Don't show again?

Norton blitz marketing...try mouse hover over pop-up X
if you see "Don't show again"....click "Don't show again" -- not the X

Did you try Auto Smart Scan Off or Edit schedule to your preference

Schedule Norton scans
Your Norton product detects when you are away from your computer and automatically runs scans to assure that your system is regularly monitored for threats. You can also schedule Smart Scan, Quick Scan, Full Scan, or your own Custom Scan to run on times of your choosing.

~ Don't Show Me Again -- not the X

Today pop-up to try Norton Browser - I have better proven browsers thank you Norton. From various threads it causes problems, the latest was now, whatever you set as your default browser you set, Norton elbows that aside & makes itself default browser. Would this be deemed doing something not legal and encroaching on users privacy and meddling with their coomputer?

Norton - I purchase products to AVOID ads - I've bought your services since the 90's - I know what I want and need. STOP with the pop-ups and Ads. Give customers an option to opt out. It's gotten so bad, it's giving me reason to consider other options - of which there are many.

i rarely see these

altho i just today got a browser ad on ( protection) for firefox

in administrative settings about half way down turn off special notifications ( offers)

the ones for browsers ( chrome, edge, firefox etc..) tend to reappear after a build or patch update, been that way for years now

Numerous threads on this subject, just had a pop up to install all extensions in Firefox - Firefox not been open for a few days yet nagging pop-up appeared even though browser closed. NORTON -please note what PAYING users want - not what you want us to have. What I use is a lot better than what Norton want me to use. Stop these nagging pop-ups - totally agree with LoneMoose & many other users that are totally fed up these - George Orwell's 1984 has been & gone Norton - now you seem to have brought it back as Norton 2024 - please listen to your users!

Been a lot of thread postings coming thru' lately where it appears 'users' are selling various 'services' that have nothing to do with Norton 360 itself from genuine users. Please stop those posters instead who are abusing the forum!!!
