Hey Guys got a question:
Never used Symantecs file submitter before basically Norton Internet Security and Symantec Endpoint don't pick these files up after some time and work we figureed its a rootkit and managed to remove it eventually using Combo Fix anyway we have these files quarentined.
The file type has been changed to .vir so they don't load however were sure they are in conjunction with other things that were removed with symantec endpoint.
Anyway its a clever rootkit so do you want these files all submitted in 1 and me remove the .vir or will your guys know what to do?
Anyway This was an intelligent rootkit completely disabled Norton, Disabled the internet and you couldn't run any Malware/Spyware/Rootkit tools as normal.
