Subscription Aggravation

Hi all. A technophobe Newby asking his first question.

Norton Security quietly uninstalled from my computer and didnt tell me.

I  eventually discovered this when I decided to carry out a scan.

Long story short.  Bottom left of screen under tasks now tells meT rial  Version Status   -- Activate Now 

This I have done on more than one occasion tonight and inspite of re boots the pesky message remains.

All the more frustrating as my  renewal isn't due until 2019.How does one get this changed to showing the good old number of days left????

Try opening up Help on the main program. Go to Subscription Status.

If that doesn't help, I would give Customer Support a chat. They are the ones who can help with subscription issues.

Silly question. Did you upgrade to a newer version and have a product key for it? Norton shouldn't uninstall itself without user intervention. When you reinstalled where did you get your product download from? What product and version does Norton say is installed? Open Norton then look at the top right under HELP. Open help then about, you should see your version there. I'm hoping you logged into your Norton account and downloaded from there.

Further to last, . Norton decided to do a full uninstall reinstall following which I did the user installation procedure as instructed.
