Subscription Incorrectly Expiring

My mobile security app says it expires in 1day, but I only recently purchased a full year’s subscription. My Norton online account correctly shows I have 352days left on my subscription. The app wants an activation code, but I never received one when I downloaded the app (ver 3.0) from Google Play. How do I ensure my Android device remains protected?

I had already tried entering the product key and that didn't work.  Neither did the passcode for the Norton Anti-theft plugin.  I'll try uninstalling and reinstalling, though my previous reinstall (without first uninstalling) didn't work.  Thanks for the suggestions.  More to follow.

Please uninstall the current installation of Norton Mobile Security and Norton Anti-Theft plugin first. Then reinstall the latest available version of Norton Mobile Security from Google Play Store.

During installation, you are asked to sign in to Norton Account. Sign in using your Norton Account email address and password that has your Norton Mobile Security license associated with. Please do not skip this step. Your subscription info will not be updated unless you sign in to your Norton Account.

OK, thank you.  This was painfully confusing, especially now that Norton has changed the name of the new version of the same app to Norton AntiVirus & Security on Google Play (though the header on the same page now calls it "Norton Mobile Security Lite").  But the bottom line is that I seem to have gotten it working and the licensing issue seems to have been resolved by Norton.
