I have just renewed my Norton 360 subscription at a cost of £64.99. I subsequently discovered that I can buy exactly the same product on Amazon for £51.00, a difference of £14.00. I would have thought that normal practice would be to reward long standing repeat customers with a lower cost, not penalise them. Any views?
Thank you for that Yaso. After a bit more exploring I found the threads you've directed me to so apologies for my duplication! However, despite reading all the justifications for the higher price renewal, I still think it's a poor practice for Symantec to adopt, although it is doubtless extremely profitable for them!
I guess you'd have to contact Symantec directly if you've got questions about their marketing and sales policy ;-) We've not been able to come to any truly satisfying answers over here so far.
