Subscription renewal issues

I received an email that I had automatically renewed my subscription, again.  This also occurred in September.  After two hours on the phone I thought I fixed the issue.  Tonight I got another email that I had renewed again.  I spent two hours on the phone last time.  I spent an hour and a half on the phone this time and had to hang up.  I waited thirty minutes for chat, a total of two hours, again.  Again, Symantec’s mistake and again, two wasted hours.  On MyAccount there was no option to cancel automatic renewal, just Products—Order History----Profile.  I wanted to cancel my subscription and get a pro-rated refund but was refused.  Has this happened to anyone else, twice?  Is there a way to cancel and get a pro-rated refund?
