When you renew a pre installed Norton product, you may also receive a product key. You can check this in the confirmation mail you received from Symantec. If not, the Customer Service team can surely help you in this.

 

You can also ask them to upgrade your version to the 2009 as you are eligible for a free upgrade to the 2009 version if you have a valid subscription.
