I have used Norton for years. My current subscription is valid until April, 2016. I just renewed my subscription by using the key from my recently purchased Norton Security Deluxe product. My subscription now only shows 365 days, my previous balance of 70+ days was not added to the new subscription. Apparently, this only works with online renewals, so do not use a new subscription until the old one expires.
