i recently utterly crippled my main laptop (go me!), and resorted to my backup which doesn't have NIS installed.
now, i bought a subscription to NIS on the other one which had it pre-installed (hence, no cd).
so i downloaded the trial for this one thinking i'd just enter the product key and be fine.
right?
no.
no matter what i do, "subscription status says "30 days remaining", even though there's well over 200, since it renewed in july.
i dunno what's going on. i tied it to my norton account.
how do i manually enter the serial number/product key?
