The Product Support Group needs to get working on this issue. I'm sure that I'm not the only one experiencing this. Norton Security with Back Up is a follow-on line to Norton 360, in my understanding. Norton 360 is not currently being offered at Staples, where I have been purchasing the software for years: initially, Norton Utilities, Norton Internet Security, followed by Norton 360. I always activate the subscription a few days before the expiration date, yet I've been receiving friendly reminders for weeks, that I'm not protected and to renew my Norton 360 subscription. I registered the product at the time of installation, so various constituencies within Symantec/Norton know that I've been using the product on three (3) different devices.
Issue One: You should be able to cross-check your presence of a working, current subscription and remove me from an obsolescent product roster for the same Company's product.
Issue Two: You should be upselling and educating the public, that you've rebranded Norton 360 with a new, improved flavor.
Issue Three: You should stop offering Norton 360 to various channels, such as e-mail list members, if you've been campaigning your own product in another wrapper.
Issue Four: Work out your own business model LOB courtesies, that the Norton 360 customers have been lost to a competitor, when they've actually upgraded to your newer product line.
In summary, Stop sending me renewal notices, when I've already taken care of it, and remain a loyal and satisfied customer.
Thanks in advance. I know that someone can fix this!
