I have NIS 2012 with all of the latest updates installed as of 2:00 AM ET on 05/28/12 without error. It stated that I had 102 days remaining on my NIS 2012 subscription.
An hour later, my PC froze up for no known reason and required being rebooted. When my PC rebooted, NIS showed a red X and an error that I was at risk and needed to activate the program, again.
After finally getting it to reactivate and return to normal service, it tells me that I have used up all three installs on my 3-user NIS subscription! Wait a minute! This has only been installed on on PC! Come to think of it, several years ago, I had a Norton 360 installation on ONE PC that crapped out three times over several months and needed to be reactivated, but finally told me that I had used up all of my installations!
What do I do now to recover my ability to install the NIS 2012 on my other system?
