Suddenly getting popups directing me to INDEXSPOTCAPTCHA.COM

As of this morning, Dec 10, 2020, I am suddenly getting popups from the lower right corner of my screen telling me I have various security issues (viruses, malware, etc.) and suggesting I update my McAfee (which I don't own) or, later in the day, Norton, or other software (some of it kind of random). I'm sure it is Malware.

Norton 360 found nothing, so I installed Malwarebytes, which also found nothing. But something is wrong.

Not sure how it got in, since I recently had my computer repaired and have a new SSD, new Windows 10 installation, and have only loaded essential programs on my computer.

All the popups direct me to INDEXSPOTCAPTCHA.COM.

Looks very suspicious. I can find nothing on the web to shed light on this.

Norton 360 (updated as of today, 2020-12-10, December 10, 2020)

Windows 10 v 10.0.19042

This could also be malformed ads on some web site you are visiting? If bjm_'s suggestions do not help, try installing an ad blocker extension in your browser.

Maybe, try...
