Super Buggy, a real pain to use. Stick with free Microsoft Live Family

This is the second time I've tried to use Norton Family and it has been a complete mess. And I am only using it for one purpose and that is to control screen time. The NF team should take some cues from Microsoft Live Family.

Here are just some of the problems I am seeing, all on Windows 10.

1. When I turn OFF Time Supervision, it still continues to block the child. Did it loose my setting ?

2. What's with this checkbox that says "Apply to all computers" that in unchecked by default. It should be checked by default, else it is just asking for a call to support or a post on a forum like this.

3. The UI is just terrible. There is the House Rules tab that is greyed out, or at least it appears that way, and it is so easy to miss. And with the new flat UI look, one can't even tell that its a tab.

4. For a given Child, there is no way to see a histogram for the last week to see how much time was used daily. Such a basic use-case is not supported.

5. Why is NF still using Windows local uses. On modern Windows versions, one signs in using the Live ID, and that is what it should map to. That way the Norton Family child name "roams" with the Live ID.

6. If the child reaches their time limit for the day, and then I turn off Time Supervision and turn it back on, it should start a new 4 hour(or whatever) time block for the day. That does not happen, it still continues to remember that 4 hours were already used for this day.

7. Android app is painfully slow to update. Yawn! Not sure how this was ever shipped.
