Today I had a popup window saying that support for Norton Utilities ends Sep 30th 2020 with a link to:
https://support.norton.com/sp/en/us/home/current/solutions/v136526244
Annoyingly clicking on the X (close window) or the OK button didn't get rid of the popup window.
It seems to be generated by a process called Smart Alert (32-bit) that is the file Alert.exe in a Norton Utilities subfolder.
I had to kill the process to get rid of the popup window.
