Suscription has 10 months to go but not recognized when I try to update

IMy new computer had trial ware installed but I transferred my existing account to the new computer. I failed to opt out of the trial ware. I get frequent warnings that I am not protected because the trial ware was cancelled and I am urged to subscribe. I am so frustrated and confused that I am tempted to cancel everything but that solves nothing. I do not know how to ascertain whether I am protected or not. Help?

To get you the best advice, would you give us some more information about your system:

What version of Windows are you using including Service Packs and whether 32 bit or 64 bit as well as the Name (presumably N360 but standard or premier?) and Version ID of the Norton product that you are using -- Help / About is where that is, in the format of nn.nn.nn.nnn

If you have the COMCAST version of Norton 360 / Security Suite and not the normal commercial version please be sure to tell us.

If you get any error messages please give the exact wording of them as well as any other background that could be helpful.

When you say you transferred your Norton Account to the new computer please explain exactly what you did. Are you trying to use the KEY from another installation of the Norton product to extend the trial version subscription or what -- how many of the 3 activations have been used already?

Using Windows 7; Have Norton 360, do not know the version and do not know how to find it. I am not trying to extend the trial version but am trying to remove all versions of it from my computer. I just had another drop-down advising me to subscribe. I have used only one activation but want to add a computer.

do-do,

Follow the route: << Version ID of the Norton product that you are using -- Help/Support / About is where that is, in the format of nn.nn.nn.nnn  >> on the screen that comes up when you have N360 up in view.

If you just want to remove it in order to reinstall from what you call "your account" then just use Windows Uninstall and then install N 360 again.

But you don't have to uninstall a trial version to use your other version if the are the same Standard or Premier -- just insert the KEY in the renew box -- if you wait until the trial is about to expire you won't then lose any unexpired days.

I'm sorry not to be more precise but I still don't know exactly what you want to do -- please describe it in more detail and where you want to end up.
