I jut had a software program that I've been using for 10+ years and had been using less than 15 minutes prior to Norton 360 popping up a message that it was dealing and then had dealt with a problem with Suspicious.Cloud.5. I then found out that it deleted the main program file. While it left the support files and the files created by the program, I have no way to access them.
When I attempted to recover the file from the Norton backup file, it wiped it out again. When I attempted to copy it from my networked computer, it wiped it out again. I have one more copy left in backup (non-Norton generated), but I'm afraid to try to copy it. back in.
Norton 360 v5 says "No fix attempted". File risk was "High". Threat type "Heuristic virus. Detection of threat based on malware heuristics." Norton 360 had updated just prior to this activity.
The file is dpsjournal.exe. This is a journaling program that has more than 10 years of data attached to it and I've never had a problem running it and have never gotten a message about it before. ANY suggestions on dealing with this would be appreciated.
