Suspicious emails

I have Norton 360 but I receive a lot of suspicious emails with attachments. I do delete them but how can I stop receiving them.

You cannot stop an email from coming into your email client. All you can do is have them moved to your spam/junk folder.

Are they being detected by Norton's Antispam feature?

"You cannot stop an email from coming into your email client."  or at least slow them down as less and less emails get blocked at the server.

Welcome,

Have you gone to your ISP site and looked at the email service there? They usually have some filters available which can block some of the spam. Then your 360 can cope with the rest.

I use a combination effort. I have the spam filter set at the ISP site and I usually visit there before downloading messages into my client. Any of the messages that I don't want to bring to my computer get deleted at the ISP site.

Take a good look at your options and develop a system that works for you and keeps most of the trash off your computer.

Keep us posted

If your ISP does block spam emails at their server, make sure you make a habit of checking direct by webmail from time to time since I repeatedly find non-spam mail that I need is blocked there. So much business email like banks and so on comes from robot senders and can get flagged as junk .....

Depending on what you find you may want to explore whata the ISP offers to enable you to mark a sender as OK in future ..... but be careful.
