Hi Why is it all of a sudden i keep getting this message saying Suspicious Web Page Blocked You attempted to access: For your protection, this web page has been blocked and submitted for review. Visit Symantec to learn more about phishing and internet security. It is recommended that you do NOT visit this page, however if you know that this web page is safe, you may choose to visit this web page anyway. When it is safe, Which is a News Stations website www.myfoxphoenix.com FOX 10 News in Arizona. everytime i click on the icon on my bookmark toolbar the message keeps popping up even i click to Visit the page anyways still will not load the page. Whats going on?

My Screen looked different. but using Firefox I don’t see any settings for smart screen filter, but under the browser settings the malicious site warning page is on… Today i get no suspicous site warning when going to www.myfoxphoenix.com maybe the site had a problem…

Hmm.  I went to the page you indicated and I see that it has some kind of automatic reload or redirect on it that Firefox blocked.  It could be that IPS reacted to that.  Smart screen is in IE8.

It sounds like you experienced an aspect of our Norton Antiphishing feature, where if something about the webpage content looks suspicious, the page gets submitted for analysis. 

 

If the page is not immediately recognized as safe, we err on the side of caution and display the suspicious warning page you described. 

 

In the meantime, the submitted page is being analyzed.  In this case it came out safe and that is likely why when you visited it at a later time there was no block page shown.
