My college student daughter's computer has identified the following problem when doing an antivirus scan... at some point a window comes up and indicates that the file svchost.exe is blocked... the window then disappears... the same thing happens with ntoskrnl.exe...
Is this a problem or is this just the software doing its' job?
The OS is Windows Vista Premium...

Thanks for the response... I did not have the computer in hand or I would have replied sooner... When I got it, I decided to do a factory reset (it is a Dell) and that worked...
So, after three hours doing MS updates and reinstallation of misc. programs, the problem is gone (for now)...
