The protection engines and features are basically identical in NIS and 360. The differences are mainly in the extra utilities and backup feature in 360.

So the points brought up in that thread would be valid for your 360 product.

It seems there has been some change in the way Norton handles some Windows processes that may try to access Norton processes. This is creating the extra notifications in the Norton History. Norton is just doing what it is supposed to do and protecting itself from outside intruders.

Norton is certainly doing what it is supposed to do,  question again is what is causing this, yes one alternative "seems" to be that Norton have begun to handle this differently, but we havent confirmed that alternative.

As requested updated to the latest version 21.0.2.1. Securitty history shows that the above messgage appeared 25 times in just 3 minutes.including IP Statistical Submission, and new logs like :Sample Submission N360 Downloader.exe,  Sample Submission:2014 Plugin.Dll, Sample Submission>mbam-setu.exe. Please update.

Thank you.

You are not getting alerts.  You are reading entries in Norton's history.  There is a difference.  No action is required, so rather than bother the user with a scary pop-up, Norton simply keeps a record of the event for future reference.
