I've got Win7 installed and have current backup images (of SRP and Win7 partitions). I want to temporarily restore a WinXP image. Then later restore the SRP and Win7 partitions instead. (All on one 300GB hdd.)
I'm a partition noob, but I figure I need to deal with the active SRP before I install an active WinXP into the other partition.
I see the Ghost 15 SRD has a "Partition Table Operations" utility, and the physical boot drive looks like:
Do I just edit this table to switch back and forth? If so
I figure I want it to look like this again when I want to restore the SRP and Win7 partitions again.
But what do I do to retore WinXP?
Here's my guess of how I want it to look before I do that restore:
Line 1:
07 80 0 32 33 1023 254 63 206848 586067968
The last number I arrived at by adding 204800 + 585863168 (the two numbers in the last column).
Line 2:
Same as lines 3&4 are now.
Advice please?
