Switching from 60 day trial installation to 1 year license NIS 2011

Hi

I have just purchased a new HP laptop that has NIS 2011 installed on a 60 day trial.  The shop where I bought the laptop also provided NIS 2011 1 year subscription CD covering installation on 3 x PCs.  The CD is packaged in a Norton Symantec cardboard sleeve wallet and has the usual subscription "key code".  The packaging has a statement on the front cover "Not to be sold separately, to be supplied with a new PC only".

1)  Can anyone tell me how I use this installation CD to move from the 60 day trial to the 1 year subscription?

2)  Do I need to un-install NIS2011 from the PC Control Panel and then re-install using the CD?

3)  Is there any way I can change from the 60 day trial to a 1 year subscription using the CD or its key code without having to un-install and then re-install?

4)  Am I likely to experience problems replacing a pre-installed 60 day trial with an installation from a CD?

5)  If I do need to un-install are there any special steps I need to perform in order to avoid problems when I come to re-install from the CD?

Many thanks in advance to anyone who can help me!
