Switching from Norton Anti-Virus to Norton Security

Hello.  I just got out of a frustrating Norton chat with someone who couldn't understand my question (non-native English speaker) and Norton does not have email support (here's a suggestion:  please bring back the email support with native English speakers).  I don't like using the phone because I am deaf.  So I am using this forum to see if anyone can answer my question, which will be explained in the next paragraph.

I recently had two automatic renewals for the two copies of Norton Anti-Virus programs I have installed on my computers (one copy per computer).  I have two computers and live in a household where there are three computers, mine included.  Norton Anti-Virus can be only used on one computer, which explains why I have two automatic renewals.  It sucks, but that's the way the money train goes.  I started using the AV program a few years ago, so am not sure if Security was available then.  I am trying to streamline my finances and it does not make good financial sense to renew individual copies of the AV each year for each computer in my household.  Upon investigating other options in the Norton line-up, I was able to determine that Norton Security was my best option.  Now, my question is this... since my two automatic renewals were recent (last month-February), would I be able to get a refund for these two automatic renewals when I switch over to Norton Security or will the money I paid for these two automatic renewals pay for the Norton Security upgrade?  It does not make financial sense to pay for two automatic renewals and then a month or so later, pay for a completely new program.  This is where the non-native English speaker could not help me because the wording of this question was too complex for her to understand.  Hopefully there is someone out there (perhaps a native English-speaking Norton staff member lurking amongst these pages) who can answer my question.

By the way, if a Norton staff member does help me in this matter, please do not make any changes to my account.  I am on a research-gathering mission to see which option offers the best financial sense.

Thank you.
