I'm a small youtuber with very small subscriptions and I'm searching for video codec for small video size, since mp4/H.264 extremely high and my upload speed is horrible. So I learned that codec Xvid offers good quality with small size: and this is where my concern starts: there's two web sites offering download this codec last version(which I need latest version to make them edit-able in sony movie studio. one person reported "...com" version is safe which is official says. and other site is malicious reported by two norton users in Safe Web report page. and worse thing is I wrongly entered that bad one and noticed these two warnings in safe web page, rapidly left the site, closed my Firefox and deleted cookies scanned a malware scan with Malwarebytes.
I dont think I get something bad within few seconds being inside of that site.
Safe Web does automatic scans for web site safety reports, and I wonder if official Symantec personel can analyse this two web sites please? if I may?
