I am an IT professional for a law firm. They recently recieved several hundred PDF files from another attorneys office, all loaded onto dvd's and encrypted with Symantec Endpoint Encryption. They supplied a password to use with the DVDs.
I need to export these pdf.xml files to a proper un-encrypted pdf format as these documents need to be filed and printed. The utility provided with the dvds only allows for decrypting one file at a time. It is simply impossible to do this manually with several hundred files, each taking a good 15-30 seconds to decrypt manually, and provided that the Symantec utility does not even save the last decrypted folder location.
I attempted using an old client of GuardianEdge which does allow for multiple file decryption, but the password provided which DOES work in the Symantec removable media utility DOES NOT work with the GuardianEdge utility (returns the message "incorrect password").
Please provide information on how to decrypt large batches of these encrypted files, or point me in the direction of a utility that will work to this end.
Thanks in advance.
