I have upgraded Symantec v9 corporate to symantec endpoint 11.0. Four of the machines did not upgrade, they error out with Error 1714, an older version of of symantec endpoint protection cannot be removed, and thats it. I can't find a removal tool for symantec, but see some for Norton that don't work. I see where the old directories were removed / (common files,shared, etc, SAV). I tried deleting the reg entries shown by some other symantec posts. Any ideas..? Very frustrating..
