Quick question related to Intrusion Protection:
I recently reset IE7 (Vista HP SP1) because I was getting frequent program hangs. Then when I looked at Add-ons (Tools, Manage Add-ons, Enable or Disable...) the Symantec Intrusion Prevention Browser Helper Object is listed as Disabled. I have it On under the NIS 2009 settings and get a Secure status message.
Does this mean Intrusion Protection is in fact working, and does it make any difference to Enable the Add-on?
