Symantec offer made to me in response to NF problems, but when I replied, twice, they ignored me.

I hesitated to post this but can't get a response and am curious what happened:  YG of Symantec/ NF/ this forum emailed me through the forum mail at the beginning of this debacle mid-November with an offer to extend my product subscription; then 2  days later a repeat offer was made to extend, but of a lesser extension time.  I responded to both emails with the requested account information,to take her up on the offer, then asking what happened, why the downgraded offer.  Neither of my responses were met with any further emails. 

 

I understand that following through on these offers could be costly to Symantec and maybe they didn't see how big the problem was going to be at that time.   However as they say, in times of trouble, your integrity is what you've got left and I'm shocked that seems to have gone out the window along with the reliability of the product.

 

Anyone else get this treatment?  Offer made, then when you take them up on it, they ignore you?  Anyone get these offers and actually be able to get an extension on their Norton product license?
