Symantec Recovery Disk (SRD) on USB disk

Hi all.

I would like to have my USB hard disk as a boot disk with all stuff of Symantec Recovery Disk.

Is that possible? How can I make my USB HD bootable with the SRD boot? I means: just copy the SRD CD contents to my USB HD doesn't make it bootable. What should I do to make it bootable with the SRD environment?

Why? This way, I would not need to boot from SRD CD and can have all the tools that I need in same place where I would done my backups.

Thanks to all!

Great jncs!

Your solution is very useful. Cheers!:smileyvery-happy:
