Symantec Service Framework encountered a problem

I keep getting an error message that says:  Symantec Service Framework encountered a problem and needed to close.

 

It seems to happen when my daughter is the first one to login for the day.  Then when her time runs out, and I log in, I get this message.

 

We are also both seeing an error when we log off throughout the day that says that Norton is not responding and do we want to end the task.

 

We are running Windows XP SP3, and Norton Safety Minder 2.0.0.48,  Norton Online Framework Version 2.0.0.71, Norton Online Datastore Version 2.0.0.71,  Search Signature Version 2.0.0.48,  Social Networking Signature 2.0.0.48.

 

I just reinstalled NSM last week  I have a Word doc with the screen capture that I did of the detail error screens but it won't let me attach it.  If you need them, I'll find a way to send them in.
