Symantec Service Framework Failure

Alrighty, this problem just started last night and neither I, nor the two techs I spoke with were able to fix it. In fact the techs seemed less able than I in this matter.

My problem is that within minutes of booting my system I continually receive a Symantec Service Framework Failure error which proceeds to crash Norton at which point I am unable to boot it back up. If, on the rare chance, Norton does boot, again a few minutes into running I receive this error and all instances of Norton vanish.

Thinking perhaps it was a potential virus I rebooted my system in safe-mode and I was able to run a full-system scan however that turned up nothing. Likewise I've run spy-bot and other malicious file seeking scans that similarly turned up nothing.

A complete reinstall of Norton also failed to resolve this problem.

Before I wade off into the nether-regions of the interwebs looking for a cure I figured I'd ask here. Maybe there is someone here able to resolve my issue. If nothing can be done to fix this then it looks like I'm stuck with the arduous task of reformatting.

So, for those techs that patrol these boards here is the error report...

error

As for system revelent things...

NIS 09

Windows XP Pro (Svc Pk 3)

Ask if you need more information I will do my best to provide it to you.

Regards.
