Hi, I am Using N360 V2 on Window Vista Business edition. i am getting above problem, i have seen this windows 3-4 times in last month.

could you please help me in this ?

Framework stopped is not a new topic here. Have a look at this forums Front Page and scroll all the way down to the bottom. In the middle is a group of "Tags" which are keywords on frequent topics. Click on Framework there and it will give you a listing of some of the threads on this.

I suggest you have a look through those and see if you find an answer or help there; if not better to add a post there than start a new topic.

Hope that helps you with this.

Hi,

Do you have any thrid party security softwares installed in your computer? If yes, uninstall them and then check for the issue.

If the issue is not resolved or if you do not have any thrid party security softwares installed, then open the Norton product, in the Internet pane, move the status indicator to turn off Email scanning. Then check for the issue.

Let us know the results.

Thanks for your input. I do not have 3rd party security software installed (only Norton and Windows). I do have HP diagnostic software. I only want to turn off email scanning as a last resort. After all, that is a major reason I have Norton -- it is supposed to perform that task without these glitches. Norton tech support told me to run live update for the fix which didn't work. Any suggestions, or is turning off email support the only fix?

Thanks.

If the issue does not persist after turning off email scanning, then we can try a few steps to resolve the issue. So the first thing you need to check whether the issue persists after turning off email scanning. If not, try the following steps.

1. Delete temporary files.

   Click Start>Run.

In the Run dialogue box, type %temp% and click OK.

This will open the temporary folder, try to delete as many files as possible from this folder.

2. Uncheck the "Protect against time out" option.

  Open Norton 2009

In the Internet pane, click Settings.

  Next Email scan, click Configure.

Under "What to do when scanning email messages" uncheck "Protect against timeouts".

  Click Apply>OK
