Symantec Service Framework Stops Working

Hi, my OS is Vista 32 bit and I am using NIS 2011, version 18.1.037. When I run a Rep Scan(full) I get a dialog box that states "Symantec Service Framework has stopped working". I get this crash just about every other Rep Scan that I do.

I have tried uninstalling with your removal tool and then re-installing NIS 2011 but this does not help with this problem. I still get "Symantec Service Framework has stopped working". Every time this happens I have to reboot to get NIS to work again. I have attached a PDF of the dialog box.
