I use Norton Security with Backup 22.10.0.85. I also use Veritas System recovery 16. I had no problems in the past installing Veritas. I tried to do an upgrade and also tried to uninstall the older version and this is the message that I get. The install failed with an unexpected error:Access to the registry key 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Symantec\Symcinstall' is denied. After countless days of testing if I uninstall Norton Security with Backup Veritas loads fine. Then I reinstall Norton Security with Backup. Has anyone ever heard of this before. Looks like Norton Security has changed or blocked the permissions in the registry.
