SymantecSnapshot0 cannot read 12296 sectors...

-Error E7C3000F: Device \\.\SymantecSnapshot0 cannot read 12296 sectors starting at LBA 6372248.
--Error EBAB03F1: Data error (cyclic redundancy check).

I tried to perform a new mirror of my system and got the above error. Prior to this I attempted to clean the external drive to start brand new. Several files remained behind that I was blocked from erasing due apparently to the fact that as a Vista SP1 user I'm not the true administrator of my own machine. However the external drive was essentially empty.

I did remove the previous backups from inside Ghost, per the options offered within the program. This did not removed the previously mentioned unerased files from the external drive.

If I had to guess... I will anyway. Ghost is failing to read the sectors of the external drive with the unerasable files, resulting in the above error message.

Are there Norton Ghost Company gurus here? I hope so. I need an answer to this issue soon. I have to mirror this computers internal drive before I make an important, but potentially problematic install.
