Hi there. I did a search around the net but couldn't find anything about this so thought it best to leave a wee question here about it.
For the past few days i've been experiencing random reboots, so i set this thing up to show me the screen message. Usually i like to leave music playing when i go to bed, which has never been a problem before but now i wake up in the middle of the night to the sound of a stuck song and the screen showing that it's something to do with the symds.sys. I found nothing about it in Google and nothing here either. What i do seem to think though is that it only began to happen after i updated my version of Norton Antivirus (originally 2008 then updated to 2009) with the problems starting after upgrading to 2010 a few days ago. I just got home from work and used the Norton Removal Tool to get rid of it from the system and have done a clean install of 2010 to see what happens.
Am i the only person experiencing this and is there a solution at all?
Thanks,
Tony.
